NEWS: 5/1/2012 -- Now Accepting Applications -- The Sherborn Fire
Department is currently accepting applications for the position of
Paid-Call Firefighter/EMT. Qualifications should include; State
certified EMT-B, EMT-I or EMT-P preferred, with at least one year
full-time experience, AHA CPR, and Valid MA Driver’s License.
Successful candidates will be required to work, at a minimum, 18
hours per month. Applications are available at Sherborn Fire
Department HQ, 22 North Main St, Sherborn, MA during posted office
hours or by contacting 508-653-3270. Sherborn Fire is an EOE.
The Sherborn Fire Department is proud to serve our local area with
the highest quality emergency services, including fire prevention
and public safety. From the first officially appointed chief in
1943, Lester Klein, the Sherborn Fire Department has developed a
long and rich history and has become an integral part of our
community.
Located on Rt. 27 in the center of Sherborn, Massachusetts, our
state certified personnel respond to a variety of emergency
situations. We are comprised of approximetly 50 paid call members
providing a multitude of services including fire suppression,
rescue, and advanced life support.
