The department consists of approximately 50 "paid call" members including all officers and chiefs. Each member is an employee of the Town of Sherborn and is paid only for their time during both emergency responses and official business. Many thousands of hours are given by these same members, on a volunteer basis, in order to train, maintain the equipment, and provide the organizational structure to the fire department.
